Senzo

Jira Service Management Training Built Around Your Set-up

Senzo runs Jira Service Management training for Australian teams on the configuration they actually use, split by role: agents learn to handle requests, administrators learn to change the set-up safely.

When organisations bring Senzo in for training

  • A JSM implementation nears go-live, and the people running it haven't configured it
  • An internal team built the service desk and wants a second opinion, plus training
  • A team is replacing another tool's forms or portal, and agents need to find information

Jira Service Management and Jira admin training, by role

Training works best when it follows the job each person does, not the product's menu.

Atlassian courses

Atlassian's own training, and where Senzo fits

Atlassian offers excellent courses: free courses, public classes, team training and certifications on its learning site. Senzo helps your team run the service desk you already use, or are about to go live with.

Training is part of our Atlassian consulting services, alone or within a Jira Service Management implementation. It can cover Rovo service agent basics; whether to use Rovo and Confluence structure have their own pages.

How a training engagement with Senzo runs

  1. 01

    Review

We review your set-up, then ask who will need to do what once we step back.

  2. 02

    Prioritise

A topic list with an agreed audience and format for each, worked from the top.

  3. 03

    Train

Sessions over video by default; a named contact approves anything beyond the agreed hours.

  4. 04

    Hand over

Depending on scope, recordings and guides stay with your team, in Confluence or elsewhere.

Training in practice

Jira Service Management training for MyState Bank

  • Before go-live

Three live video sessions for MyState Bank's space and product admins, on the bank's own configuration.

  • Sandbox

Hands-on exercises, and a sandbox for showing workflow changes away from the live site.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the training for?

Agents, space admins, and product or site admins. Each group gets sessions built for its own job.

Is it live or recorded?

Chosen per topic: live, hands-on sessions for administration, and short videos with a written guide for topics such as forms.

Can training run on-site?

Our consultants are based in Sydney, and training runs remotely by default. On-site sessions can be arranged by agreement.

Can you train our team on a set-up we built ourselves?

Yes. We review the configuration first, flag anything worth changing before training, then build the sessions around what you have.

How is training priced?

In hours, estimated from the agreed topics and set out in the written agreement. Each program is built on your configuration, so there are no fixed course prices.

What happens after the training?

Depending on scope, guides and recordings are handed over for new starters. Ongoing administration is available through our Atlassian managed services.

“Senzo brought a clear, thoughtful approach to our Jira implementation, helping us move from complexity to clarity. They didn’t start with the tool, they began with focussing on our teams different needs to understand our operating model in the Marketing Division, making sure the solution was shaped around how we work. Their ability to get to the heart of our needs stood out. They asked the right questions, challenged our thinking, and helped us prioritise what would deliver the most value.”
